Terms and conditions FAQ
Bayard is accessed by you under the following terms and conditions. All of our services as described on the site are governed by these Terms and Conditions. It is important that you read and understand these terms before using our services. By accessing or using our services you agree to be legally bound by these terms, as they may be modified from time to time. We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Amendments will take effect when posted on our website.
1. How long do we take to process orders?
All orders are processed within 72 hours. Please note that your PayPal receipt acts as our order confirmation receipt. Please keep it in your records.
If your order is set up before the 20th of the month, your subscription will start with the current issue, unless your requested otherwise. If your order is set up on the 20th of the month or after, your subscription will start with the next available issue, unless you requested otherwise.
2. How long does it take for me or the recipient to receive the magazine?
The magazine is sent at the end of each month (except in July and in December as there is no issue in August and in January). For delivery within the UK, it can take between 4 and 6 working days to arrive. Deliveries within the EU can take up to 10 days to reach their destination. For any items outside the EU can, in some cases, it can take up to 25 working days. If for any reason you have not received an issue, please email email@example.com and we will dispatch a replacement issue, or if that particular issue is out of stock, we will extend your subscription by the number of issue(s) you have missed.
If your subscription starts with the current issue, your copy will be sent within 8-10 days of receiving your order.
Please note that there are 10 issues per year. There is only one issue in July/August (which you will receive in July) and one issue in December/January (which you will receive in December). For StoryBox+CD and AdventureBox+CD, there are 5 CDs per year. The CDs are sent with the following issues: October, December/January, March, May and July/August.
3. I am not satisfied with the magazine I subscribed to. Can I transfer to another title?
You can transfer your subscription from a title to another at any point of your subscription, free of charge. Simply email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
4. I am not satisfied with the magazine I subscribed to. Can I get a refund?
You are entitled to a refund if you are not satisfied with our products or our service. Please email email@example.com to request a refund of the amount equivalent to the issues you have not yet received. If you paid by cheque, we will issue a refund cheque and send it to your address. If you paid by credit card, we will credit the card you used for the original transaction. Please note that you may have to wait 5-10 days for the refund transaction to be credited to your account. If you paid by direct debit, please notify your bank that you have cancelled your subscription with us.
